Fareham Live

Fareham Live is a new state-of-the-art entertainment venue boasting an 800-seat concert hall and 120-seat secondary space. It opened its doors in 2024 showcasing world-class entertainment.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

To provide excellent customer service and support the smooth operation of the Front of House at Fareham Live. Ensuring a welcoming environment for visitors. To sell and promote our products/merchandise as required. Collaborate with the venue team to ensure the delivery of events, implement service standards and all housekeeping.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties include:

Bar Service

Food Service

Events

Ushering

  • Provide excellent customer service to all theatre patrons.
  • Support front-of-house operations as directed by the Duty Manager.
  • Serve drinks and snacks adhering to licensing laws and venue policies.
  • Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks, food, and snacks to a high standard.
  • Follow health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
  • Operate the till and handle card transactions accurately.
  • Prepare and restock the bar before and during performances.
  • Keep bar and foyer areas clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
  • Check tickets and assist audience members with seating.
  • Provide information about performances and the facilities available.
  • Monitor the auditorium during shows to ensure safety and audience comfort.
  • Assist with evacuation procedures in the event of an emergency.
  • Maintain cleanliness of counters, tables, and dining areas.
  • Work as part of a team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations – including flexibly working across venues.
