ABOUT THIS ROLE 

The Welcome Team deliver an excellent standard of service to everyone who frequents and uses the venue (staff, companies and customers). The role covers all aspects of Box Office and Stage door operation, providing a first-class ticket sales service, quality administrative support, and monitoring (within agreed procedures) the security of backstage and administrative areas.  

ABOUT YOU 

You will need to be organised, outgoing, with a proficient attitude and excellent attention to detail. A presentable professional with an approachable manner which sets an example for others to follow. You also are willing to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• To be first point of contact for all CTB visitors both Front of House and Back of House, presenting a professional, welcoming, and helpful manner at all times.
• Accurate selling and processing of ticket sales, reservations and customer data in accordance with GDPR regulations.
• To provide administrational support to the Box Office & Stage Door Manager, including but not exclusively relating to ticket sales and customer enquiries.
• Provide ticketing support as required to the Front of House Team on show days/evenings including supplying relevant ticketing system reports and information.
• Security of backstage and administrative areas including, but not limited to, monitoring of all people entering / leaving the building, and maintenance of signing-in and signing-out records, supervision, and monitoring of CCTV, and of fire and intruder alarms.
• Deal with incoming deliveries appropriately.
• To follow all CTB’s and Trafalgar Theatres’ policies and procedures concerning staff and third parties signing into and out of the venue.
• With the support of the Duty Manager to be responsible for un-locking and locking the building on each shift.
• Management within agreed procedures of the Theatre’s car-parking spaces.
